QA Engineer

A QA Engineer is responsible for testing software applications to ensure they meet quality standards, are free from defects, and work according to requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and create test plans & test cases
• Perform manual and automated testing
• Identify, document, and track bugs
• Work closely with developers and business teams
• Perform regression, integration, system, and UAT testing
• Ensure product quality before release

Required Skills

• Knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) & SDLC
• Manual Testing concepts
• Automation tools like Selenium / Cypress
• API Testing (Postman)
• SQL knowledge
• Defect tracking tools (JIRA)

Preferred Skills

• Basic programming knowledge (Java / Python)
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins)
• Agile/Scrum methodology
