QA Automation Tester / SDET – Java & Selenium

Location: Plano, TX(Hybrid)
Interview: In-person (Coding Test Required)
Preference: Local candidates only

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Tester / SDET to join our team in Plano, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java-based automation frameworks, Selenium, and API testing, with the ability to design, develop, and maintain robust automated test solutions. This role requires hands-on coding expertise and participation in an in-person technical interview.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Java and Selenium
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for web and API testing
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement of automation practices
• Support CI/CD integration for automated test execution
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Java
• Proven experience with Selenium WebDriver
• Solid experience in API testing
• Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks
• Good understanding of OOP concepts and test design patterns
• Experience with Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Good to Have

• Experience with Groovy
• Experience with Spock testing framework
• CI/CD tools exposure (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Experience with BDD frameworks

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Relevant experience as QA Automation Engineer / SDET
• Strong coding and analytical skills

• In-person interview with live coding test is mandatory
• Local candidates to Plano, TX will be given preference
