Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership:
Manage end-to-end packaging projects aimed at cost optimization and sustainability.
Ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and budget.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including R&D, procurement, operations, and suppliers.
Packaging Expertise:
Apply knowledge of packaging materials, processes, and technologies to drive innovative solutions.
Support packaging sustenance initiatives and compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
Cost Savings & Value Engineering:
Identify and implement packaging cost reduction opportunities.
Lead VE/VA workshops and ensure actionable outcomes.
Track and report savings achieved through packaging initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Communicate project status, risks, and results to leadership and stakeholders.
Build strong relationships with global teams and suppliers to align packaging strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
7+ years of experience in packaging technology and project management.
Proven track record in cost savings projects and VE/VA implementation.
PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
