We will only consider candidates who can demonstrate in their resume and interview that they have personally built a cloud data warehouse from the ground up.
Proven Architect-Builder Track Record: A portfolio of projects (7+ years experience in Data Engineering) where you were the primary architect and a lead developer for a production data warehouse.
Deep Technical Expertise:
Snowflake: Expert-level, hands-on proficiency.
Cloud Platforms: Strong expertise in Azure is required; GCP experience is a bonus.
Orchestration & Code: Advanced Python skills and experience with data pipeline tools (ADF, Airflow, dbt, etc.).
DevOps Mindset: Hands-on experience setting up CI/CD for data systems.
Healthcare Data Acumen: Direct experience with the models, terminology, and challenges of healthcare data.

What You'll Do (The Builder & The Architect)
Architect and Build End-to-End: Design and hands-on develop our Snowflake cloud data warehouse from scratch. You will write the code that moves, transforms, and models our data.
Define Our Data Integration Core: Evaluate and select tools (like Azure Data Factory, dbt, Python) to architect our ETL/ELT framework. You'll decide how data flows in our new environment.
Champion Modern Data Practices: Implement Master Data Management (MDM), data governance, and CI/CD pipelines from day one using GitHub. You'll push code to production and own the deployment lifecycle.
Guide Our Cloud Evolution: Provide expert guidance as we transition our primary cloud environment from GCP to Azure. Design secure, scalable integrations between Azure services and Snowflake.
Bridge Healthcare & Technology: Apply your knowledge of healthcare data (experience with systems like Epic is a plus) to build a platform that is both compliant and analytically powerful.
