Pos Infrastructure Engineer

🔧 Key Responsibilities
POS & Retail Systems
Support Oracle Retail POS applications (Xstore, Xcenter, Xenvironment)
Manage POS hardware & peripherals (printers, scanners, cash drawers, pin pads)
Coordinate deployments, upgrades, testing, and patching
Infrastructure, Networking & Security
Support and monitor applications on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
Perform uptime monitoring, performance checks, and capacity oversight
Manage firewalls, VPNs, logs, alerts, and security controls
Monitor internet connectivity across locations
Maintain basic DNS, domain access, CCTV, and camera systems
ERP – NetSuite
Manage NetSuite user access, roles, and permissions
Build reports, saved searches, and dashboards
Train internal teams and ensure data accuracy across entities
Operations
Submit and manage Oracle SRs
Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and documentation
Participate in on-call support and root-cause analysis

🎯 What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience supporting POS or retail technology environments
Experience with cloud-hosted applications (OCI preferred)
Working knowledge of Oracle DB, Java/J2EE, and POS ecosystems
Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, and security fundamentals
NetSuite administration and reporting experience
Strong communication and documentation skills
