Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Palantir Foundry Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and analytical solutions using Palantir Foundry. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data engineering, distributed systems, and enterprise data modeling, along with hands-on expertise in Foundry’s ontology, pipelines, and code repositories.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines using Foundry Code Repositories (Python/SQL/Scala).
• Build and manage datasets, data lineage, and transformations within Foundry.
• Develop and maintain Ontology objects, actions, and workflows.
• Implement data integration from multiple source systems (APIs, databases, flat files).
• Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of data workflows.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure data governance, access controls, and compliance standards.
• Support CI/CD processes and version control within Foundry.
• Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline failures and data quality issues.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of overall IT experience in Data Engineering.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL (Scala is a plus).
• Experience with:
  • Foundry Pipelines
  • Ontology & Object modeling
  • Data Lineage & Data Governance
  • Workshop applications (preferred)
• Experience working with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
• Strong knowledge of distributed data processing concepts.
• Experience integrating cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong understanding of CI/CD and Git-based workflows.
