Pacs Architect

The PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) Manager is responsible for the overall management, maintenance, and optimization of the PACS system within the radiology department. This role ensures smooth imaging workflows, system availability, data security, and coordination between radiologists, technicians, IT teams, and vendors. 

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Radiology Technology, Biomedical Engineering, IT, or related field.
• Proven experience working with PACS in a hospital or diagnostic environment.
• Strong understanding of DICOM, HL7, RIS/HIS integration.
• Knowledge of radiology workflows and imaging modalities (CT, MRI, X-ray, US).

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• PACS Administrator certification (preferred)
• Experience with multi-vendor PACS environments
• Prior experience in large hospital or enterprise imaging setup
