Role: Network Operations - Tools Engineer (NOC Tools SME)
Location: Newark, NJ (Hybrid)
Rate: $90/hr C2C

Our Network Operations Center (NOC) is seeking a Tools Engineer to maintain and enhance our monitoring ecosystem. You will focus on SolarWinds administration (NPM, NTA, NCM, IPAM), dashboard creation in Power BI, and ServiceNow integration to support 24x7 infrastructure availability.

Requirements:
5+ years: Enterprise monitoring platforms (implementation, customization, support)
5+ years: SolarWinds (SME-level in architecture, alerting, reporting, optimization)
5+ years: Advanced monitoring/correlation platforms (Datadog/BigPanda preferred)
Strong experience: ServiceNow event/incident integration, Power BI / SQL reporting
Expertise: SNMP v2/v3, Syslog, trap forwarding, automation of monitoring tasks
Proven ability: Diagnose complex issues across network, server, and app domains
ITIL framework knowledge with ServiceNow runbook maintenance
 

This is an individual contributor role requiring close collaboration with Network, Security, and Operations teams.
