Ms Purview Specialist

Job Description:

Required Skills:
·        Good understanding of data management & data governance concepts.
·        Knowledge on relational Databases, storage, and data lakes on the cloud
·        Hands-on experience in purview
·        Possess knowledge of Purview APIs

Responsibilities:
·        knowledge of data governance principles, metadata management, data quality, and data stewardship concepts
·        Work with the Enterprise Data Governance team and with the various analytics teams to build the Enterprise business Glossary for various data domains using MS Purview
·        Design and develop data governance workflows, data quality rules, and data stewardship processes within the Purview platform
·        Define and Implement data governance policies, standards, business glossaries through Bulk Import
·        Register different data sources for metadata scanning
·        Define custom classifications to identify sensitive data during metadata scanning
·        Configure and implement a Enterprise Data Catalog on Microsoft purview. Perform Scan, Search, Update, and other features with system components, evolving it for required user experience and performance
·        Perform data profiling, lineage analysis, and metadata management activities using MS Purview
·        Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex data governance issues and propose effective solutions
·        Oversee the creation and maintenance of metadata repositories, ensuring accurate documentation of data assets, definitions, and relationships
·        Should have knowledge in building solutions using REST API’s
