Mid/Senior Database Engineer

• 6+ years of relevant professional experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Strong experience administering Snowflake data platforms
• SnowPro Core certification strongly preferred (advanced Snowflake certifications a plus)
• Solid SQL development and relational database administration experience (Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting on Linux
• Working knowledge of Terraform and Ansible
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Bitbucket, Jenkins)
• Basic AWS infrastructure administration (Azure or GCP experience acceptable)
• Linux system administration experience
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as JIRA
• Knowledge of ITSM processes and tools including ServiceNow

Preferred Qualifications

• Snowflake integration with IAM solutions (Entra / Azure AD, HashiCorp Vault)
• Integration of Snowflake monitoring with tools like Splunk, Grafana, or Dynatrace
• Experience integrating Snowflake with ITSM or CMDB tools (ServiceNow, CloudAware)
• Experience with batch scheduling tools (Autosys or equivalent)
• Familiarity with FinOps principles and Snowflake cost optimization
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Looker, or QuickSight
• Hands-on experience with Snowpark container services
• Experience with Snowpipe and streaming analytics
• Exposure to Snowflake Cortex AI services
