Job Description
15+ Years of Experience in Middleware Technologies (Tibco, WebSphere, IIS)
Involved in Transition and Transformation of App-Ops / Middleware and proven record for supporting different infrastructures.
Expertise in configuring, installing, and troubleshooting TIBCO applications BW, EMS, Administrator, Hawk etc on Windows and Unix Platforms.
Should also be expert on Middleware technologies like IIS , Apache, Tomcat , Jboss etc.
Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or other languages
Linux and shell or other Unix scripting languages is preferred.
Should be Expertise in use of SOAP, File, JMS, JDBC, Parse, HTTP, General Activity etc.. palettes and good command Tibco Designer using these palettes.
Ability to work Client internal tools and good command in the SSL certs.
Experienced in Configurations and troubleshooting TIBCO Applications, Manage and support TIBCO applications.
Working with business team and technical teams to understand functional requirements, and support solutions and provisions on boarding partners efficiently.
Monitor performance, availability and capacity of all equipment and identify/report potential concerns to management.
Contributes to incident resolution by diagnosing and troubleshooting the incidents, gathering additional information, follows change control processes, updates incident tickets with current information, proactively documenting status for each incident ticket, escalating issues to other technical resources and management as appropriate, and participate, monitors the resolution and root cause analysis process.
Performs preventative maintenance on all TIBCO environments and supporting equipment including ensuring the entire environment is up to date by installing/applying latest security and recommended patches/fixes that are released by the vendor.
Develops and documents standard operating procedures for end users and operations personnel. Develops and documents system documentation. Develops reports.
Should have experience in reusing common services framework, error logging and handling and automated monitoring frameworks.
Strong interpersonal skills, as well as excellent communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Should have sound knowledge in incident management, change management, problem management and request management etc.
Ability to guide / mentor other Administrators and troubleshoot issues.
Excellent understanding of software development methodologies and architectures.
Should have collaborated with internal and external technical resources to develop overall implementation strategy and drive the solution, customization, and integration efforts.
Experience in interfacing with the customer and experience in Architecture consulting engagements is a definite plus.
Working with various teams like Infrastructure, development team to resolve, analysis of root cause for complex issues and outages
