Mainframe Developer

• Senior Mainframe Developer Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and DB2.
• Integrate and support Streamweaver for real-time data streaming and event-driven architecture.
• Utilize Documerge for document composition and output management.
• Work with CSF (Customer Service Framework) to enhance customer interaction capabilities.
• Manage and optimize job scheduling using ESP Scheduler.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, security policies, and best practices.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Strong command of Mainframe Vanilla technologies (COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2).
• Proven experience with Streamweaver, Documerge, and CSF.
• Hands on experience with ESP Scheduling tools.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team oriented environment.
