🔹 Job Overview
We are hiring an experienced Mainframe Administrator with ADABAS expertise to support and manage enterprise mainframe database platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with DB2 on z/OS, IMS DB/DC, ADABAS, and replication technologies in a high-availability environment.


🔹 Responsibilities
Administer and support IBM DB2 databases on z/OS
Manage and maintain IMS DB/DC and ADABAS environments
Implement and support replication using IBM InfoSphere Data Replication (IIDR)
Work with zConnect Enterprise Edition (zCEE) API framework
Perform database performance tuning, partitioning, indexing, and data sharing
Handle database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery planning
Troubleshoot complex database and system-related issues
Ensure data security, compliance, and best practices
Participate in on-call support and production issue resolution
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for upgrades and maintenance


🔹 Required Skills & Qualifications
8+ years of experience in Mainframe Database Administration
Strong expertise in DB2 z/OS, IMS DB/DC, and/or ADABAS
Hands-on experience with IIDR
Solid understanding of z/OS concepts and JCL
Strong SQL knowledge and DB2 performance tuning experience
Experience with backup, recovery, and DR processes
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
