Lead IT DevOps Engineer

Role Overview
Lead the architecture, strategy, and execution of enterprise SaaS and IT DevOps systems. Drive large-scale initiatives including SSO/SCIM, automation, and multi-tool integrations, with a focus on scalability, security, and long-term alignment. Act as the primary technical escalation point, mentor team members, and partner cross-functionally to deliver resilient, future-ready infrastructure.
Key Impact
Mentor and develop engineers; drive adoption of AI and modern DevOps practices
Establish team standards, intake frameworks, and OKRs
Partner with stakeholders to build and improve tooling, infrastructure, and documentation
Automate workflows, improve escalation processes, and lead IT initiatives
Continuously evaluate and improve processes and systems

Core Requirements
5+ years leading DevOps or systems teams with strong automation and IaC focus
Proven ownership of complex, cross-functional technical initiatives
Expertise in device management (macOS/iOS), secure identity (IdP/IAM), and endpoint security
Large-scale device deployment and policy management experience
Strong scripting/automation skills (Python preferred; Bash/PowerShell); serverless a plus
Deep IAM experience (Okta/Azure preferred) and CI/CD integration
Solid enterprise networking fundamentals (DNS, VPNs, routing)
Vendor management and cost optimization experience
On-call participation (US only)
Cloud infrastructure expertise in AWS and GCP
Experience designing scalable, secure, long-term IT/DevOps architectures and driving change

Nice to Have
Advanced Okta / Okta Workflows expertise
Principal-level DevOps or systems engineering background
Strong API-driven automation and integration experience
