IT Project Manager
Job Description
· The IT Project Manager will lead and manage a portfolio of information technology projects, including software development, hardware replacements, governance initiatives, data migrations, business intelligence, and strategic planning. The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, project tracking tools, and performance measurement techniques such as Earned Value Management (EVM), Cost Performance Index (CPI), and Schedule Performance Index (SPI).
· The Project Manager will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear requirements definition, alignment with strategic objectives, and successful project delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience managing IT projects involving software development, hardware replacements, data migrations, governance, and strategic initiatives.
- Strong experience as an IT Project Manager for software development projects.
- Proficiency in eliciting requirements, documenting user stories, and defining acceptance criteria.
- Hands-on experience using Azure DevOps or GitHub for backlog management and traceability.
- Experience creating and executing user acceptance test cases.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Feature Driven Design.
- Experience with Earned Value, CPI, SPI, and budget tracking and monitoring.
- Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or Trello.
- Experience analyzing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending improvements.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) to provide insights and support decision-making.
