Infrastructure Engineer – Storage
Experience: 7–8 Years
Location: Jersey City, NJ / Dallas, TX / Tampa, FL - onsite

Role Summary:
Seeking a Storage Engineer with strong experience in SAN, NAS, Object Storage (S3), and public cloud. The role focuses on managing enterprise storage platforms, optimizing performance, automating operations, and supporting data protection and migration initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and support enterprise storage arrays (VMAX, PMAX, VNX, XtremIO, Pure, NetApp ONTAP, Hitachi VSP, IBM SVC/XIV, EMC ECS, StorageGrid).
Configure and maintain SAN fabric using Cisco and Brocade switches.
Integrate storage with VMware ESXi and cloud environments.
Perform provisioning, performance tuning, capacity planning, and health monitoring.
Execute storage migrations and consolidation with minimal downtime.
Manage Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS, and CIFS/SMB protocols.
Implement replication (SRDF), snapshots, and backup/restore solutions.
Automate storage tasks using Python, Ansible, YAML/JSON/XML, and REST APIs.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and cross-team collaboration.
Required Skills:
7–8 years in enterprise storage engineering.
Strong SAN/NAS/Object Storage expertise.
Experience with Cisco/Brocade SAN switches and VMware ESXi.
Solid scripting/automation skills (Python, Ansible).
Proven troubleshooting and performance optimization abilities.
Preferred:
Storage certifications and hybrid/multi-cloud exposure.
