ETL QA Tester

Role Overview:
We are seeking an ETL Quality Engineer responsible for validating data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting end‑to‑end testing across the data warehouse environment. The role involves extensive SQL-based validation, ETL workflow testing, and collaboration with engineering teams to ensure high data quality. Ready to learn new things and a quick learner.
Key Responsibilities:
·        Perform ETL testing including source-to-target validation, transformation logic, and regression testing.
·        Develop and execute test cases, scenarios, and scripts for data pipelines.
·        Validate data across staging, integration, and reporting layers.
·        Conduct data profiling, data quality checks, and root‑cause analysis for issues.
·        Verify ETL scheduling, dependencies, and job execution outcomes.
·        Support production validation during releases.
·        Collaborate with data engineering and BI teams to clarify requirements and validation rules.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong experience in ETL / Data Warehouse testing.
Proficient in SQL with ability to write complex validation queries.
Experience working with ETL tools (Informatica, DataStage, Talend, SSIS, ADF, etc.).
Good understanding of data quality, profiling, and data auditing practices.
Exposure to BI/reporting validation (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
Good to Have or ready to learn:
Exposure to Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses.
Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts, Snowflake Cortex, or AI‑assisted testing.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Understanding of orchestration tools and CI/CD for data pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently in an agile environment.
Good communication and documentation abilities
