Entry Level SCRUM Master (100% Remote W2)

Role Description

This is a remote, entry-level Scrum Master role offered on a contract basis. The Scrum Master will facilitate Agile processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Responsibilities include ensuring smooth collaboration between development teams and stakeholders, maintaining the product backlog, supporting the team in creating and refining user stories, and identifying areas for continuous process improvement to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Sprint Planning and managing Agile ceremonies to support efficient workflow.
• Strong Analytical Skills for identifying impediments, optimizing processes, and improving team performance.
• Excellent Communication skills to effectively collaborate with development teams and stakeholders and ensure clarity in goal setting and execution.
• Understanding of User Stories and the ability to guide teams in writing and refining clear and actionable user stories.
• Familiarity with Software Development processes and tools to provide effective support to technical teams.
• Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban (certifications such as CSM or PSM are a plus).
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and a commitment to fostering a positive, collaborative team environment.
