DevOps Engineer

Job – DevOps Engineer
Duration – 6 Months
Location – FL remote

Must Have : Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, YAML CI/CD, TFS Administration, application build/deploy pipeline, automation within the pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
•    Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for multiple application teams.
•    Automate build, test, and deployment workflows using YAML-based pipelines.
•    Collaborate closely with Development and QA teams to integrate unit tests, integration tests, and automated UI tests into the pipeline.
•    Manage and troubleshoot build and release processes, including build agents, environments, approvals, and pipeline execution issues.
•    Implement and integrate security and compliance checks into CI/CD workflows (e.g., static code analysis, secret scanning, policy checks).
•    Drive adoption of Azure DevOps across teams including migration from legacy tools such as Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Jenkins to Azure DevOps.
•    Manage Azure Repos, enforce Git branching strategies, and administer repository permissions and access controls.
•    Integrate pipelines with external tools for scanning, testing, artifact management, and deployment automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications
•    8+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer (preferred).
•    3+ years of experience in a DevOps role focused on application build and deploy in CI/CD environments.
•    Extensive experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines (YAML).
Strong understanding of:
   Build and release pipelines
   Approvals, gates, environments
   Deployment strategies (blue-green, canary, rolling, etc.)
Hands-on experience with:
   Azure Repos
   Git branching strategies (e.g., GitFlow, trunk-based)
   Repository permissions and governance
Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines with external tools for:
   Static code analysis
   Secret scanning
   Test automation and quality gates
   Deployment and monitoring tools

Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related analytical field OR equivalent practical experience.
