Datastage Developer

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance ETL processes using IBM DataStage.
• Work closely with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather and understand data integration requirements.
• Analyze complex data requirements and source systems to create technical specifications and ETL mappings.
• Optimize ETL jobs for performance and ensure data quality and integrity through validations and testing.
• Collaborate with QA teams during UAT cycles and assist in defect triaging and resolution.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production ETL jobs; provide support for incident resolution.
• Document technical designs, processes, and support procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM InfoSphere DataStage (Designer, Director, and Administrator tools).
• Strong proficiency in SQL (Oracle, Teradata, or SQL Server).
• Solid experience in data integration, data warehousing, and ETL performance tuning.
• Familiarity with job sequencing, parameterization, and error handling in DataStage.
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts – star/snowflake schema.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with healthcare or pharmacy datasets (especially PBM data).
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or cloud-based ETL integration is a plus.
• Familiarity with tools like Control-M, Git, JIRA, or ServiceNow.
• Experience working with HIPAA-compliant data.

Certifications (Nice to Have):

• IBM Certified DataStage Developer
• AWS Cloud Practitioner or equivalent
