Database Engineer

• Collaborate with application developers to support database needs
• Manage database deployments and schema migrations
• Monitor database health, performance, and security
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis
• Document database architecture and standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in database development or engineering
• Strong expertise in SQL (advanced level)
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
• Knowledge of indexing, partitioning, and performance tuning
• Experience with data modeling concepts
• Familiarity with backup and recovery strategies
• Experience using version control systems (Git)
