Rate: $50/hr on C2C
Duration: Long-term Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our team on a remote contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling, along with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze large, complex datasets to extract actionable insights
• Build, validate, and deploy machine learning models
• Perform data cleaning, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis (EDA)
• Develop predictive and statistical models to solve business problems
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Business)
• Create dashboards and data visualizations to present findings
• Communicate technical results to non-technical stakeholders

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch is a plus)
• Solid knowledge of statistics and probability
• Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with big data tools (Spark is a plus)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in data science or related role
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
