Data Engineer

Job Description

10+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
Strong hands-on experience with building and managing scalable data pipelines (batch and real-time).
Proficient in ETL/ELT development and data integration using modern data tools.
Experience working with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or similar distributed processing frameworks.
Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.).
Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) for provisioning data infrastructure.
Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines for data workflows and automated deployments.
Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or similar.
Experience implementing data quality checks, monitoring, and observability solutions.
Strong understanding of data modeling, schema design, and performance optimization.
Experience with version control systems (Git) and Agile tools such as Jira for sprint planning and issue tracking.
Experience designing and documenting data platform architecture and supporting services.
Knowledge of data governance, security best practices, and compliance standards.
