Cyber Security Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security professional to protect organizational systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. The ideal candidate will monitor security systems, identify vulnerabilities, and implement security controls to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor networks and systems for security breaches and suspicious activity
• Identify vulnerabilities and perform risk assessments
• Implement and manage security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM)
• Respond to security incidents and conduct root-cause analysis
• Ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards
• Conduct regular security audits and penetration testing

• Provide security awareness and best-practice guidance to teams

  Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of network security, protocols, and architectures
• Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight)
• Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, endpoint security
• Understanding of OWASP, malware analysis, and threat intelligence
• Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Scripting basics (Python, Bash, PowerShell)

  Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in Cyber Security (Analyst/Engineer role)
• Security certifications preferred: CEH, Security+, CISSP, CISM
