Job Title: Cloud Architect (VMware & AVS Focus)
Client: State of New Jersey
Location: Trenton, NJ (Hybrid – Local Candidates Only)
Rate: $70/hr C2C

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Architect with 13+ years of enterprise VMware expertise to lead hybrid cloud initiatives for the State of New Jersey.

Technical Requirements:

VMware Core: Deep expertise designing, deploying, and optimizing vSphere/ESXi (versions 7, 8, 9), vCenter, NSX (Micro-segmentation/Zero Trust), and vSAN.

Hybrid Cloud: 5+ years integrating on-prem data centers with Azure VMware Solution (AVS) .

SDDC & VCF: Hands-on support for VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 5.0+ and recent implementation experience with VCF 9.

Networking & Storage: Strong background in TOR switches, vSwitches/DV Switches, and storage protocols (NAS, iSCSI, Fiber Channel, SAN).

Automation (Preferred): Scripting skills in Python/Java/Bash and experience with vRealize/Aria Suite or Dell VxRail HCI.
