Business Analyst

 Job Title: Business Analyst.
📍 Location: Onsite - Columbia, SC.
⏳ Duration: 12-Month Contract (with possible extension).
📋 What You'll Do:
Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for government IT modernization projects
Elicit and document business rules, processes, and system requirements
Support the full system development life cycle (SDLC) for application migration
Collaborate with stakeholders across technical and business teams
Utilize SQL for data analysis and requirements validation
Ensure compliance with government IT standards and protocols
✅ Must-Have Qualifications:
5+ years experience as a Business Analyst on Government IT projects
5+ years experience in eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements
1+ years hands-on experience with SDLC methodologies
1+ years experience with SQL databases
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (relevant experience may substitute).

🏆 Preferred Credentials:
IIBA certifications (CBAP, CCBA, or similar).
PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) certification.
1+ years experience with JIRA and Microsoft Office/Teams.
Experience with application migration or modernization projects.
