Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Infrastructure Engineer with 8+ years of experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments, supporting enterprise applications, and driving cloud infrastructure best practices.

This role requires deep expertise in Azure services, infrastructure automation, networking, security, and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure solutions on Azure.
  • Deploy and maintain IaaS and PaaS resources including VMs, storage, networking, and databases.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
  • Manage and monitor Azure environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
  • Implement security best practices including RBAC, NSGs, Azure Firewall, Key Vault, and policies.
  • Configure and maintain virtual networks, VPNs, ExpressRoute, and hybrid cloud setups.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps integration for infrastructure deployment.
  • Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and provide root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams to deliver robust cloud solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, risk, and security standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8+ years of IT infrastructure experience with at least 5+ years in Azure cloud.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
  • Expertise in Azure networking (VNet, Subnets, VPN Gateway, Load Balancer, Application Gateway).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep).
  • Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
  • Experience with Azure Active Directory, identity, and access management.
  • Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and high availability design.
  • Experience with monitoring tools and performance optimization.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
