AWS Lex Consultant
Job Description
🛠️ Key Responsibilities -:
Design, configure, and deploy Amazon Connect contact center solutions
Build and optimize contact flows, queues, routing profiles, and agent hierarchies
Implement dynamic routing logic, whisper prompts, error handling, and escalation paths
Develop conversational IVRs and chatbots using Amazon Lex
Integrate Amazon Connect with AWS Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and CloudWatch
Implement real-time and historical reporting using Contact Trace Records (CTR) and SQL
Monitor call quality, performance metrics, and troubleshoot production issues
Integrate with external systems and CRMs such as ServiceNow via APIs/webhooks
Ensure security, IAM role-based access, encryption, and compliance (HIPAA/PCI where applicable)
Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams; provide documentation and knowledge transfer
✅ Required Skills -:
Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Connect
Experience with AWS Lambda (Node.js or Python)
Proficiency with Lex, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, API Gateway
Working knowledge of serverless and event-driven architectures
Ability to write basic to intermediate SQL queries
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
⭐ Preferred Qualifications -:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer
Experience with Amazon Polly and Transcribe
Knowledge of contact center KPIs and analytics
Agile/Scrum experience
