Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS data services and a solid background in data engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines on AWS
• Build batch and streaming data solutions
• Work with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets
• Optimize data performance, quality, and reliability
• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business teams
• Support deployments, monitoring, and production issues

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall IT experience
• Strong hands-on experience as an AWS Data Engineer
• Expertise with AWS services: S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR
• Proficiency in Python / PySpark / SQL
• Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks
• Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing concepts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kafka or Kinesis
• Exposure to Airflow or similar orchestration tools
• AWS certifications
• Experience working in Agile environments
