AWS Data Engineer

• Optimize performance and cost of AWS data workloads
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and DevOps teams
• Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services
• Strong SQL and Python programming skills
• Experience building ETL pipelines using AWS Glue or similar tools
• Experience with Amazon S3 for data lakes
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Redshift or other cloud data warehouses
• Experience with distributed processing frameworks (Spark/Hadoop)
• Knowledge of data modeling and schema design

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Amazon EMR
• Experience with streaming platforms such as Amazon Kinesis or Kafka
• Familiarity with AWS Lambda
• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
