The JDA MMS / AS400 Senior Consultant is responsible for supporting, enhancing, and optimizing the JDA Merchandise Management System (MMS) on the IBM i (AS400) platform for retail merchandising operations. This role partners with Merchandising, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT to ensure accurate item, pricing, promotions, inventory, and financial transactions, while maintaining system stability and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Provide functional and technical expertise for JDA MMS (items, pricing, promotions, markdowns, inventory, sales audit).

Support batch processing, troubleshooting, and performance on AS400/IBM i.

Lead enhancements, configurations, and integrations with POS, E-commerce, WMS, and reporting platforms.

Collaborate with business users on requirements, testing, and production support.

Ensure controls, auditability, and data accuracy across merchandising and financial processes.

Qualifications

7+ years of hands-on JDA MMS experience on AS400/IBM i.

Strong retail merchandising domain knowledge.

Experience with RPG/CL, SQL, batch jobs, and system integrations preferred.

Proven ability to lead troubleshooting, upgrades, and production support in large retail environments.
