Android QA / Test Engineer

• Perform API testing to validate backend services supporting mobile apps
• Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA or similar tools
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives
• Validate app performance, memory usage, battery consumption, and crash logs
• Support release testing and production deployments

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of QA experience, with 2+ years focused on Android testing
• Strong understanding of the Android SDK, OS architecture, and lifecycle
• Experience with manual and automated mobile testing
• Hands-on experience with Android automation tools:
  • Espresso, UI Automator, Appium
