AEM Developer

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled AEM Developer with strong hands-on experience in AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) to support enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience working in large U.S. enterprise environments (retail, financial services, healthcare, or media) and will be comfortable operating in fast-paced Agile teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy scalable solutions using AEM as a Cloud Service

Build custom components, templates, workflows, Sling Models, OSGi services, and Servlets

Develop headless implementations using AEM Content Fragments and GraphQL

Configure and optimize Dispatcher and CDN setups for high-traffic applications

Integrate AEM with third-party APIs, CRM systems, and Adobe Marketing Cloud solutions

Manage deployments through Cloud Manager and CI/CD pipelines

Ensure compliance with enterprise security, accessibility (WCAG), and performance standards

Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and cross-functional teams across time zones

Required Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on experience with AEM 6.x and AEM as a Cloud Service

Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, Sling, OSGi, and HTL (Sightly)

Experience with AEM Cloud Manager, Git, Maven, and CI/CD tools

Solid understanding of Dispatcher configuration and caching strategies

Experience with REST APIs and headless CMS architecture

Strong front-end skills (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript; React preferred)

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Excellent communication skills (client-facing experience preferred)

Nice to Have

Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) – AEM Developer

Experience with Adobe Analytics, Target, or Campaign

Familiarity with AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure
