Job Title: AEM Architect
Location: Plano, TX or Atlanta, GA (Onsite)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-level digital experience solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AEM architecture, cloud technologies, and enterprise integrations, with the ability to guide technical teams and stakeholders through scalable and high-performance implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions.
- Define and implement scalable AEM architecture, best practices, and development standards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Design and implement AEM components, templates, workflows, and integrations.
- Provide technical leadership across AEM Sites, Assets, and related Adobe Experience Cloud products.
- Ensure performance optimization, security, scalability, and maintainability of AEM platforms.
- Integrate AEM with third-party systems such as CRM, eCommerce, analytics, and marketing automation platforms.
- Lead code reviews, mentor developers, and ensure adherence to development best practices.
- Support DevOps activities including CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and cloud infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide architectural guidance for enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years in AEM architecture.
- Strong experience with AEM 6.x/AEM as a Cloud Service.
- Expertise in Java, J2EE, Sling, OSGi, HTL (Sightly), and RESTful APIs.
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise CMS solutions.
- Strong knowledge of AEM architecture, dispatcher, and caching strategies.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Adobe AEM Architect or Developer Certification.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud (Target, Analytics, Campaign, etc.).
- Experience with headless CMS and SPA frameworks (React, Angular).
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
